How the work gets verified

Every fact carries a claim id and traces to a document that was actually fetched. At least one source on every item has to be the filing or the statute or the agency itself rather than a story about it. Nothing enters the record without that. An item that can't be re-verified says so on its own page.

Every numeral is produced by code from data. A build gate fails on any figure that can't be traced to a computation. Where something is genuinely not public, the size of the gap gets published instead of an estimate.
