What changes the reading
- Two campuses in this record answer to the name Abilene and they are not in the same county. This one sits in Shackelford County under an Abilene mailing address, which is ordinary for a rural site served by a distant post office. The Lancium Clean Campus, which opened the Stargate program, is inside Abilene in Taylor County. Both are occupied by the same Oracle entity, so a reader working from the city line alone would take them for one place.[1][2]
- The record moved after the announcement here. Vantage unveiled the campus in August and the Comptroller made all ten certifications effective on a single day that October. On the Lancium campus the order runs the other way.[1][3]
