TCEQ has four data center air permit applications posted with published public notices, including Crusoe's two Texas campuses
TCEQ's pending new source review page lists air permit applications whose notices are open to the public. Four of them are data centers. Aligned Data Centers REIT LLC is listed at ADC Plano and Amazon.com Services LLC at TXZ5. Crusoe Energy Systems LLC appears twice, at the Longhorn Data Center and at the Goodnight Data Center. Each row carries a plain language summary in English and Spanish and a notice of receipt of application. Several also carry a notice of application and preliminary decision, which is the document that opens the formal comment window. Crusoe's Longhorn permits include prevention of significant deterioration and greenhouse gas PSD authorizations. That is the permit family covering on site power generation rather than a few backup engines.
How to take part
Each listed application links a plain language summary and the published notices. Comments go to the TCEQ Office of the Chief Clerk at P.O. Box 13087 in Austin. Use mail code MC-105 and postal code 78711-3087. Comments may also be filed through the eComment system. A person who may be affected by emissions can request a contested case hearing.
